Akwidaa is the nearest coastal village east of Cape Three Points and a useful add-on if you have a driver for the day. It has the same low-key Western Region feel: fishing canoes, sandy lanes, palm-backed beach, and very little hurry.
Some local operators arrange canoe trips in the mangroves or guided walks from here. It is not a place to arrive expecting a fixed schedule; ask around, agree the price clearly, and keep plans flexible.
