The forest reserve behind Cape Three Points protects a remnant of the greener coastal landscape that once covered much more of this part of Ghana. It is best appreciated with a local guide who knows the footpaths, birds, and current access conditions.
Do not expect a heavily signed national-park experience. The pleasure is in the contrast: within a short distance of surf and fishing canoes you are among trees, birdsong, and humid shade.
