The Green Stadium, opened after a major rebuild in the 2010s, is one of the more impressive sporting venues in this part of the Rift. It seats around ten thousand and is the home ground of Kericho's local football side. On match days the town turns out and the atmosphere is friendly enough that visitors are usually waved in without ceremony.
Even on quiet days the stadium and surrounding park area are a pleasant walk from the centre, with views across the town to the tea hills beyond. Check local listings if you want to catch a Kenyan Premier League or county-level match — football here is taken seriously and tickets cost very little.
