Central Tower Gorge is one of the dramatic side gorges in Hell's Gate National Park, where narrow rock walls, dry streambeds, and sudden drops show the rougher side of the Rift Valley landscape. It is visually impressive, but it is also a place to take seriously.
Flash floods have killed visitors here, and many guides avoid the route in poor conditions. Do not enter without local advice and a guide who knows the current state of the gorge.
