Plage Sfiha is the broad beach east of Al Hoceima, near Ajdir and the road toward Nador. It is less hemmed in than Plage Quemado, with more room to spread out and gentler water when the Mediterranean is calm.
The view is part of the appeal. Offshore sit the Alhucemas Islands, including the Spanish-held Peñón de Alhucemas, a strange little reminder of the contested history of this coast. In summer the beach can be busy with families, food stalls, and beach chairs, but it still feels more spacious than the town beach. Outside the peak months it is a good place for a quiet walk and a swim before returning to Al Hoceima.
