There is not much to do in Oualidia in the active sense, and the not-much is the appeal. Float in the lagoon. Walk to the open Atlantic beach. Eat oysters at a long table beside the water. Visit one of the oyster farms in mid-morning to see the racks come in and learn how the farms are organised. If you stay more than a day, hire a board and try the surf or watch flamingos and herons in the shallows at the lagoon's far end.
