Skoura is 42 kilometres east of Ouarzazate on the N10, a well-maintained road that continues east to Boumalne du Dades, Tinerhir, and Errachidia. Grand taxis and occasional buses run this route and stop in Skoura village, though services are infrequent — renting a car in Ouarzazate gives far more flexibility.
The nearest airport is Ouarzazate Airport (OZZ), which has connections to Casablanca and occasional European charter flights. The more practical approach for most visitors is to fly to Marrakech (RAK) and drive the three-hour route over or through the High Atlas via the Tichka Pass.
Skoura works well as a stop between Ouarzazate and the Dades Gorge rather than a dedicated overnight destination, though there are several guesthouses in the area for those who want more time in the grove.
