Gorongosa's conservation work includes a pangolin rehabilitation programme for animals rescued from trafficking. Visits are sometimes possible through park activities, usually as part of a broader look at the science and veterinary work based around Chitengo.
This is not a zoo stop, and access depends on animal welfare and staff availability. If it is offered, take it: seeing the care behind a released animal makes the park's restoration work feel practical rather than abstract.
