A signposted lay-by on the N2 between George and Wilderness, perched on the cliff above the Kaaimans River mouth. The view sweeps east along the entire Wilderness coastline and back over the river bridge below. As the name suggests, dolphins are often visible in the surf zone, and southern right and humpback whales pass through on their annual migrations (roughly July to November).
A short flight of steps leads down to a railed-off platform. There is a small parking area; stop on the way into or out of Wilderness rather than as a destination in its own right.
