Namaqualand Museum

Local museum in Springbok's former synagogue, covering Namaqualand history and copper country.

The Namaqualand Museum occupies Springbok's old synagogue, one of the more interesting historic buildings in the centre. The collection is local and compact, with material on the town, the copper district, and the people who made a living in this dry corner of the Northern Cape.

It pairs naturally with Klipkoppie and the Blue Mine. Together they turn Springbok from a road stop into a place with a readable past.
