A beautifully preserved merchant's house in the Muharraq old town, built in the 19th century by the pearl trader Ahmed bin Qassem Siyadi. Part of the UNESCO-listed Bahrain Pearling Path, the house features ornate coffered ceilings, stained-glass windows, carved screens, and a large safe set into the wall of a small upper reception room — a nice glimpse of life during the peak years of the Gulf pearling economy.
