Anlong Veng Lake was created under Ta Mok, and the flooded trees still give it a strange, skeletal look. Local life has softened the edges a little, especially around the spillway in the rainy season, but the place is still tied to the town's Khmer Rouge past.
It is close to the town centre and pairs naturally with Ta Mok's House. Come for the atmosphere rather than a conventional beauty spot.
