Samnang Tasok Temple lies about a kilometre west of Banteay Chhmar Temple. It is one of the more rewarding satellite ruins, with face towers and vegetation folding back over the stone.
Bring water and expect conditions to change with the season. In the dry months it is a straightforward walk or bicycle ride; after rain, the track can feel much more remote.
