Ta Prohm Temple is an easy walk south of the main complex and makes a good first satellite stop. Its four-sided face tower gives you the Bayon connection in miniature.
Do not confuse it with the famous Ta Prohm at Angkor. This one is smaller and rougher, but that is part of the appeal: you can take your time without tour groups pressing behind you.
