When to Go

The dry season (November to April) is the best time to visit. The weather is hot and clear, the roads are passable, and the hike through the national park is manageable. The wet season (May to October) brings heavy rains and thick humidity — the jungle turns greener and more dramatic, but the trails get muddy and some smaller roads flood. Kep is low-key enough that it never gets uncomfortably crowded at any time of year.
