Superb collection of Khmer sculpture in a striking terracotta building

Opening Hours Daily 08:00–17:00

A striking terracotta building from 1920, designed in traditional Khmer style with walls that open into a tranquil central courtyard. The collection spans more than a thousand years of Khmer art — pre-Angkorian sculpture, Angkor-era bronzes, and elegant pieces rescued from temples across the Siem Reap region. The standing Vishnu from the 6th century and the reclining Vishnu from the West Mebon are highlights.

Allow at least an hour. The courtyard garden, with its lotus pond and frangipani trees, is a welcome refuge from the heat outside.
