About 6 km south of Ban Lung, Ka Chanh (sometimes spelled Kachang) is a wider, lower waterfall than Cha Ung — a curtain of water dropping perhaps 10 metres over a flat basalt ledge. The pool below is good for swimming and the surrounding forest gives plenty of shade for a picnic.
A wooden footbridge lets you walk across the lip of the falls; it's slightly hair-raising but the view down into the gorge is striking. Best in the wet season. Combine with a visit to nearby Tampuan villages.
