The smallest and most easily reached of the area's three accessible waterfalls — Katieng drops about 10 metres into a wide green pool surrounded by giant ferns and old-growth forest. There's a single bamboo footbridge across the top and a path down to the swimming pool below.
Less impressive than Cha Ung but more pleasant to swim at, with calmer water and a sandier bottom. Locals come out at weekends; on a weekday you may have it largely to yourself.
