Anshun is two hours from Guiyang by high-speed rail (frequent departures from Guiyang North Station, around 30 minutes travel time) or by expressway bus (about 2 hours). The high-speed train is the faster and more comfortable option. Anshun also has its own airport (Huangguoshu Airport), with limited connections to Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai.
From Anshun, tourist buses and taxis serve the main surrounding attractions. The bus station near the train station has organised tour buses to Huangguoshu Waterfall (45 kilometres southwest) and to Longgong Caves. Individual taxis for a day trip covering multiple sites can be arranged through hotels for around 300 to 400 yuan, which is the most flexible option if you want to combine Huangguoshu, Longgong, and a Buyi village in a single day.
