Libo has a regional airport (Libo Maolan Airport) with direct flights to Guiyang (about 45 minutes) and Guangzhou. High-speed rail arrived in 2023, connecting Libo to Guiyang in under two hours. For those travelling overland from Guiyang by bus, the journey takes about 3.5 hours on express roads.
Within the scenic area, a shuttle bus system connects the entrance, Xiaoqikong zone, Daqikong zone, and the car park. The shuttle is included in the entrance ticket and runs from early morning to early evening. Private cars are not permitted inside the scenic zone boundary. Most visitors book hotels in Libo county town, which is the practical base for multi-day visits.
