Wolong Pool is one of the calmest and most photogenic stops in the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. The water is a deep blue-green, often still enough to reflect the surrounding karst hills, with a low manmade waterfall at one end.
It works best as part of a slow circuit through Xiaoqikong, rather than as a separate excursion from Libo town. Bring time for the boardwalks and viewpoints around the pool, especially if the weather is clear.
