Rizhao Zhudongtian Scenic Area is an inland bamboo landscape with more than a hundred varieties planted across the grounds, including moso, purple, spotted, and golden-inlaid bamboo. A display area introduces the different species, while the main paths are there for a quiet walk away from the coast.
It works best as a low-key nature stop if you have already covered Rizhao's beaches and museums. Expect a landscaped scenic area rather than wild forest.
