Haoli Mountain

Haoli Mountain is a low but historically charged hill near Tai'an, known in older sources as Gaoli Mountain. Chinese imperial records connect it with ancient rites, and the area once held a large shrine complex tied to the sacred landscape around Mount Tai.

It is not the main reason to come to Tai'an, but it adds another layer if you are interested in the ritual history that made this region so important to emperors and pilgrims.
