A traditional Dai restaurant on Manting Lu, set in a wooden stilt-house with tables on the open-air upper deck. The signature dish is pineapple rice — sticky rice steamed inside a halved pineapple, sweetened with the fruit's own juices and studded with raisins — and the grilled tilapia, salted and stuffed with lemongrass and garlic before being cooked between bamboo splints over charcoal.
The menu has bilingual photographs, which makes ordering easy. Prices are very reasonable; come hungry and order several dishes to share.
