Former Residence of Nie Er

This traditional wooden house preserves the childhood home of Nie Er, the Yuxi-born composer best known for writing the music of China's national anthem. Built by his great-grandfather in the late Qing dynasty, the residence gives a compact look at both local domestic architecture and the early life of one of modern China's best-known musicians.
