East and West Scenic Area, also known as Dongxiyan, is a rocky landscape of cliffs, caves, canyons, and small temples outside Lishui. The signed loop trail can be done in around 90 minutes, but the side paths and viewpoints make it easy to stay longer.
It works best as a half-day outing for travelers who want a manageable hike rather than a hard mountain day.
