Nanming Shan rises south of Lishui and is a popular local outing for views over the city. The mountain has an old temple, rock carvings, waterfalls, koi ponds, and walking paths, with a more everyday feel than a heavily packaged scenic area.
Bus number 1 runs to the last stop near the mountain. Entry is free, making it an easy choice if you want a few hours outside the city streets.
