The Samudrika Naval Marine Museum is a compact introduction to the Andamans' marine life, corals, shells, geography, and indigenous communities. It is not a slick modern museum, but it helps make sense of the islands before you head out to the beaches and reefs.
The museum works well as a short stop between ferry bookings or on a rainy afternoon. Pair it with a walk along the harbour side of town.
