Pushkar Ghat is the best place to feel Rajahmundry's relationship with the Godavari. Pilgrims bathe here, families gather in the evening, and boats nose along the riverfront below the bridge views.
The ghat is busiest during festivals and during the Godavari Pushkaram, the great river festival held once every twelve years. Outside festival time, early morning is quieter and more atmospheric.
