The Jogighopa Cave Temples are a group of five rock-cut caves near the Brahmaputra. They are not richly sculpted, but they are among the better-preserved remains from the Salasthambha period in this part of Assam.
The best cave is small, with a rounded ceiling and cut steps beside the entrance. The site is worth including if you are already exploring the Bongaigaon district, especially with the river nearby.
