Kakoijana Natural Park is a forested area about 15 km east of Bongaigaon. It is the strongest nature stop close to town and a good break from the railway-and-road feel of central Bongaigaon.
The park covers roughly 20 sq km. Go with local advice on access and current conditions, especially in the monsoon months when tracks can be rough.
