Azim Khan's Tomb

Azim Khan's Tomb is a 17th-century Mughal tomb near Mehrauli, built for a general in the Mughal army. The square structure, crowned by a dome and decorated with carved plasterwork, is smaller than Delhi's headline monuments but fits well into a walk around the Mehrauli archaeological landscape.

Come for the setting as much as the building. The tomb sits close to several older ruins and makes a worthwhile stop for travellers already tracing the history around Qutub Minar and Mehrauli Archaeological Park.
