Connaught Place — universally known as CP — is central Delhi's main commercial district. Built by the British in the 1930s, the two concentric circles of colonnaded white buildings house everything from international brand stores to old-school Indian restaurants and street food vendors.
The inner circle (officially Rajiv Chowk) is the hub, with the outer circle and radiating roads packed with more shops, offices, and eateries. It's as much a people-watching spot as a shopping destination — locals and tourists alike converge here daily. The Rajiv Chowk metro station sits right underneath, making it one of the most accessible spots in the city.
