Coronation Park was the site of the Delhi Durbars of 1877, 1903, and 1911, including the assembly where George V announced the transfer of British India's capital from Calcutta to Delhi. The park contains the Coronation Memorial and relocated colonial-era statues, including a large statue of George V.
