Dilli Haat Regional Food Court

Open-air food court inside Dilli Haat INA serving regional dishes from across India

The food court inside Dilli Haat INA is one of the best places in Delhi to sample regional Indian cuisines that are otherwise hard to find in the capital. The stalls represent different Indian states and serve authentic versions of their regional specialities — fish curries from Kerala and Goa, rice-based preparations from Odisha, Rajasthani dal-baati, North-Eastern smoked meats, and Bengali sweets. The quality varies stall by stall but the overall range is remarkable.

Unlike the craft stalls, which rotate artisans, the food stalls are more permanent, allowing returning visitors to build up favourites. The seating is casual and open-air, in keeping with the haat (market) atmosphere. A meal here covering multiple stalls costs very little and gives a meaningful survey of India's culinary diversity in a single sitting.
