Feroz Shah Kotla is the ruined 14th-century citadel built by Feroz Shah Tughlaq beside the Yamuna. The surviving walls, mosque, stepwell, and Ashokan pillar are atmospheric, and Thursday visits by devotees leaving letters for the resident djinns give the ruins a living ritual life.
