Ghalib ki Haveli

Ghalib ki Haveli is the former home of Mirza Ghalib, the nineteenth-century Urdu poet whose work still shapes the literary memory of Delhi. The house has been converted into a small museum with manuscripts, books, portraits, and objects connected with the poet and his time.

It is tucked into Old Delhi, so the visit is as much about the surrounding lanes as the rooms themselves. Come if you have an interest in Urdu poetry, Mughal-era Delhi, or the quieter cultural stops beyond the Red Fort and Jama Masjid.
