Sinquerim is the southern continuation of Candolim Beach, ending at a rocky bastion below Fort Aguada that juts into the Arabian Sea. The sand is the same, but the crowd is smaller and the water is generally cleaner — the fort's outflow currents push the tourist debris north.
This is the beach to come to for watersports: parasailing, jet skis, banana boats, and a handful of fishing boats hired out for short dolphin-spotting trips in the morning. Walk south to the foot of the fort and you can scramble onto the bastion itself for the best sea view in the area.
