Cafe Inn, on the main road just behind the beach, is the breakfast institution of Palolem. Espresso made with proper Italian beans, fresh juices, banana porridge, and an overstuffed full English plate for travellers who have been on the road too long. The wood-fired pizzas at lunch are also good.
The cafe opens at 7am and the front terrace fills with the first wave of visitors looking for coffee. Service can slow down at peak times; bring a book.
