Rakhigarhi

Rakhigarhi is one of the major archaeological sites of the Indus Valley Civilisation. Only a small part has been excavated, but finds have included fire altars, tools, toys, figurines, drainage structures, and traces of a granary.

It is a specialist stop rather than a polished museum visit, but the scale and age of the site make it one of the most important reasons to detour beyond Hansi.
