Monkey Point, or Manki Point, is the highest point around Kasauli and the town's strongest sight. The Hanuman temple at the top gives the place its legend, while the real reward for most travellers is the view down toward the plains and, on clear days, out to distant Himalayan ridges.
The point lies inside an air force area, so entry rules can be strict and cameras or bags may be restricted. Check locally before setting out and do not treat it like a casual open viewpoint.
