Sunset Point is the easy viewpoint in Kasauli, close enough to town for a short walk and broad enough to show why the hill station exists. On a clear evening the ridges drop away toward the plains; in haze it is less memorable.
Use it as the start or finish of a Gilbert Trail walk. The point is popular, so come early or accept that sunset is a social hour as much as a scenic one.
