Dharagiri Falls is the rougher, greener outing from Ghatshila: a short forest approach to a small waterfall north of town. It is not a huge drop, but the setting is what matters, especially after rain when the stream has force and the surrounding forest is at its best.
Do not expect formal facilities. Wear shoes that can handle mud and uneven rock, and avoid treating the place as a casual roadside stop during the monsoon.
