Thiruvangad Sree Ramaswami Temple is one of Kerala's notable Rama temples, with wood carving, mural work, and a temple tank set slightly away from the old harbour core. It gives a different register of Thalassery's history from the fort and mosque: older, devotional, and more rooted in Kerala craft.
The temple is active, so visit with the usual respect for dress, photography, and ritual space.
