Lingmala Falls is one of the easier waterfall excursions from Mahabaleshwar, reached from the road toward Panchgani and then by a short walk through damp forest. In the monsoon and just after it, the main drop is at its strongest, with mist and green hills doing most of the work.
There are smaller cascades closer to the entrance and a longer walk to the bigger view. Paths can be slippery, and the waterfall is much less impressive in the dry season, so this is a timing-sensitive stop rather than an all-year guarantee.
