Nariman Point

Nariman Point is the southern tip of the Marine Drive arc, Mumbai's original high-rise financial district and the most iconic urban skyline view in the city. The cluster of glass-and-concrete towers from the 1970s and 1980s — now somewhat dated compared to BKC's newer developments — still defines the city's business character. Marine Drive's four-kilometre necklace of street lights along the arc of Back Bay is Mumbai's signature image.

The sea wall promenade along Marine Drive is Mumbai's most beloved public space, used for evening walks, jogging, and sitting watching the sea at all hours of the day and night. It is at its most magical in the early morning when the city hasn't woken up yet and the occasional fisher flicks a line from the rocks. The Trident and Oberoi hotels at the base of Nariman Point are landmark dining addresses.
