National Centre for the Performing Arts

The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) is India's premier performing arts institution, a complex of theatres, concert halls, and rehearsal spaces at Nariman Point that presents classical music, jazz, opera, theatre, and dance from Indian and international artists year-round. The complex includes the Tata Theatre, an 1,100-seat main venue with excellent acoustics, alongside the smaller Experimental Theatre, Little Theatre, and an outdoor amphitheatre.

The NCPA has been the home of Mumbai's classical music and performing arts scene since 1969. Season programmes run from October through April with the highest concentration of international productions. Student and concession tickets are available at significant discounts. The NCPA's membership is one of the better deals for regular cultural attendance in the city.
