Vengurla is on the southern Konkan coast, about 510 km from Mumbai by road. The journey takes around 9–10 hours by bus or car via the coastal highway or the NH 66. Konkan Railway trains run between Mumbai and Margao (Goa), with a stop at Sindhudurg — the nearest railway station to Vengurla, about 30 km away. Local buses or taxis connect Sindhudurg station to the town.
From Goa, Vengurla is about 60 km north on NH 66 — roughly two and a half hours by bus or taxi, making it a feasible day trip or short extension from the north Goa beaches.
The nearest airport is Dabolim (Goa Airport), about 80 km south, though Chipi Airport (Sindhudurg Airport) opened in 2021 and is much closer — check for current service, which was limited at opening.
