Wah Kaba Falls is a waterfall north of Cherrapunji, less visited than Nohkalikai or the Seven Sisters but worth including on a day of waterfall touring. It drops over a basalt cliff face into a pool below, surrounded by lush monsoon vegetation. The surrounding area has good views of the valley.
The falls are best visited between July and January when the monsoon rainfall keeps them flowing strongly. The access road is rough; a local guide or a vehicle with good clearance is useful for reaching the viewpoint. It can be combined with a day trip that includes other waterfalls in the plateau area.
