Known locally as Sradhha Shrikhetra, this Jagannath temple stands on the southern outskirts of Rayagada and was built in the mid-twentieth century. It serves the local Odia community for whom Jagannath of Puri is the supreme deity. Architecturally modest, but with the bright colours and busy ritual life of any active Jagannath shrine.
Worth combining with a visit to the nearby Majhighariani Temple. Morning aarti is usually around 6 am, evening around 7 pm.
